*... Day5 ...*

Shanghai Volkswagen factory in Jiading industrial district
A tram tour of the assembly plant. No picture was allowed again.

Saw this on the way... cool

Here we are at Shanghai Stock Exchange

tight security

Among all the visit, this one is the one that I have learnt the least. I have no idea about stock exchange at all :(

The first river across the 黄埔river, 南浦大桥.

Sightseeing at 'the Bund'

Pearl Oriental TV Tower, admire it so much

Cheng Huang Miao

Finally I have a chance to try this

with Shini and Yizhen

I like this river. We went through it many times.
I was so excited every time as I was so eager to see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
Heheh...
I wish to stay there longer

After dinner, we visited Xintiandi

We were suppose to walk around to learn about the successful leisure ad entertainment business in Shanghai and experience a taste of both Shanghai in the 1920's and the modern lifestyle of urbanities of the 21st century.
It was drizzling that night, the weather was about 5 degrees. We were almost frozen. We end up to have a sit at the coffee bean shop there. Actually I would like to walk around that night, but most of them decided not to. So, I have no choice. We stayed in that shop until the time was up.

interested?

We can say that Shanghai Xintiandi resembles Clarck Quay in Singapore. There are many bars and cafes, theme restaurants or boutiques which cater for white and gold collar people.

That night, we were asked to take taxi home. Amanda, Ken and I were on the same taxi.
When we were at the junction, the driver turned to the left. I stopped him. Do you know why? Our hotel was on the right side. Luckily we had a walk around the hotel on the first night we reached there. Otherwise, I have no idea. Maybe we need to pay double up of what we were supposed to. By the way, the taxi fare there is cheaper than Sg.
Anyway, we had a long day.
